the tree

honestly, i kinda wanted to go somewhere else this year. our tree last year was a bust. and a friend of a friend has a tree farm where the trees aren’t trimmed...just wild, crazy-looking frasier firs. but in was outvoted. and when i look at these pictures, i think i’m ok with that.

sign at a tacky gift store in tin city. but it made me laugh the whole trip. (vacation is my excuse for not posting in awhile.) we had an awesome time...good weather, good friends and good time with our family. visits with grandpa bookended our trip.

daily ritual : vacation edition

i think i probably got this from my mom.
it just makes me feel more organized to layout all the stuff i want to take in one place.
and olivia and sam love it. they started asking weeks before...
“when can we set out stuff in the kitchen?!”
