homecoming

finally! it was so late this year. and we were spoiled by the last couple of years’ indian summers. huge thanks to the horvath family for letting everyone invade their home. olivia’s “shirt” (a dad-ism) looked beautiful. and despite the last minute hair crisis...i think it all went together beautifully. check her twitter...she has lots of cute pics. trying to find the one of sammy doing what else...photobombing olivia and josh.

so, maybe not the stupendous return-to-blogging post that i envisioned...but that was part of the problem. i kept thinking about it and not doing it. ta da! the burton high school juniors powderpuff team. they lost...i guess they’re supposed to. but they looked awesome doing it. LOVE this group of girls. for the most part...they always have each others back. next year?

brian always teases me when i make big proclamations about fashion and such while watching the news. high fashion in burton sometimes means you washed your truck. (and don’t get me wrong...i wouldn’t live anywhere else.) but can someone explain to me...stella mc cartney?

 

it’s like its a big joke. let’s see what i can make them wear this season.

we spend too much time at walmart. yes, walmart. remember...burton? it’s all we have. but how sweet is this gazebo with a built in bar?

we sometimes actually make dinner. so may activities mean lots of “dinners in a tray.” (meaning those plates with little compartments that olivia and sam still love)

we teach sammy how to tie a tie. he has his spring concert tonight. we are the world, indeed.

we love johnny with all our hearts. but sometime wonder if he is playing a joke on us too.
